Technical Specifications:

  • The main source of power for the Life Raft Outer Canopy Light is Lithium type cell, which has 5 years of shelf life.
  • The Life Raft Outer Canopy Light output is more than 4.3 cd power in all directions of the upper hemisphere for more than 12 hrs.
  • It has a flashing rate of 50 to 70 flashes per minute.
  • For bright light and long life LED is used.
  • The Light Unit wire length is as per the customers’ requirement with male/female arrangement.
  • All components are made from ABS orange color plastic moulded material.

 

Operation:

  • The Life Raft Outer Canopy Light at the bottom side has two terminals provided for water activation. Also a manual ON & OFF switch is provided for manual operation.
  • On immersion in seawater/freshwater, activation will take place within a second.

 

Approval:

  • Life Raft Outer Canopy Light/Life Boat enclosure light is manufactured as per the latest requirement of LAS code and IMO resolution MSC 81(70).
  • The approval is given by IRS Mumbai, Certificate No. 2013TAC034, dated 26th August 2013.
